San Roque

The project

In San Roque, the main room runs open under a vaulted ceiling and a single wood beam. Herringbone white oak floors carry from the seating area to a veined marble island, and steel framed glass doors open the kitchen to the courtyard. The palette repeats through the rest of the house. Brass fittings and marble counters return in the baths, plaster softens the walls, and at dusk lit stone pillars and a lantern lined path lead back to the front door.
